Let’s Create the Perfect Tea Party for your next birthday or shower!
Do you remember?
If you’re an adult, a mother or grandmother, I feel every one of you can remember a time you had sat down with your favorite person as a child and had a pretend or real tea party. My fondest memory was my 8th birthday, where I got to have a “friends” birthday party, so I chose to have it at a tea room in St. Peters, MO. I was super excited to invite all my friends for a day of dressing up in old time dresses and tea hats, taking pictures and drinking our favorite beverage, lemonade, out of old tea cups and saucers.
I still can remember this day like it was yesterday even though it was 23 years ago. Okay now I am telling my age… As long as I can remember, I have always been a birthday person. I loved planning my own parties, making a huge birthday celebration for my family and friends. I am now a mother and there is nothing better than seeing the joy in your child’s eyes as they see all their loved ones around them celebrating “Their Day” in their favorite theme.
Why Tea Parties?
As my daughters get older I try to make every little event special. One of our favorite things to do with my mother is go to our local tea room and have lunch while my daughter sips lemonade from her vintage tea cup, dresses up in costumes and offers her baby doll lemonade too. This is when the Idea of having a traveling tea party business that sets up tea parties for children’s birthday parties and adult gatherings for women to get together and spill some tea came to mind.
