I am going to show you how to set up the perfect pink picnic for any Barbie Lover. I always start out my set ups with the ground picnic table my husband made but you can do this table setting on any table. If you are wanting to have ground picnic table, check back for the How to build a ground picnic table post. The base for my set ups by is putting down a white tarp down then Cream waffle weaver blanket I got mine from amazon, click underlined words to get links.
When I planned on doing a Barbie Inspired set up, I went on the search for everything Pink! I wanted a pink Barbie Box like Barbie I grew up with as a center Photos for the party and center my design around girly, pink and disco ball fun!
Below I will go through detailed pictures of what I bought to create this set up along with links to each Item or links similar.
After getting my vision from my Barbie Inspired Pink Disco Invitation, I was on the look out for all things PINK! I started with the hot pink main runner since it was the center of the table . I usually like to match my runner and napkins but I decided to do white for this party because there was already so much pink. Since I couldn’t find a napkin holder I liked that matched my theme, I decided to make one. I bought mini disco balls in a pack of 24. I cut off the string it came with and weaved through a hot pink ribbon. I thought the fun touch of pink with the disco ball made a perfect holder.
Centerpieces and Disco Balls
I had seen inspirational pictures on Pinterest of Barbie Car Centerpieces so I took a swing at it, and I was really happy how they turned out. I ordered a Pink Barbie Car and bought a styrofoam cut in half to put in the car to hold the floral arrangements, check back for post on how to make centerpieces. As stated above I had framed my picnic set up on the Barbie inspired Invitation I created on Etsy and the Welcome Sign for my daughters party. I got disco planters off amazon, one pink disco ball where I added Floral arrangements from flowers from our local grocery store. I flipped the two smaller 4 inch silver disco ball planters over to add to decor. I used the extra disco balls from the napkins to scatter on the hot pink runner.

While looking for the layered charger and plates, I searched for the best price per bulk and the vision I had so I got my pink charger from tablefactory.com, Here are some pink chargers on amazon that would be cute with Barbie theme and one similar to one pictured above. Party Favors- Barbie Inspired Pink Sunglasses and Pink Party Cup
What child coming to a birthday party, doesn’t love party favors? I found pink heart glasses that reminded me of Barbie and pink lidded cups and straws for the guests to take home. When I have my daughters birthday in October, I will use the cups to put a couple Barbie Themed goodies in there like these Benton Publishing Kids Play Packs . There is also these Foci Cozi Barb Party Favors Kit that would great to add to a goodie bag to go in the cup and be taken out for the guest to use the cup for the party.
